About iarigai

The International Association of Research Organizations for the Information, Media and Graphic Arts Industries (iarigai) is a worldwide non-profit alliance of research institutes, academic organizations and industrial R&D, fostering networking and international cooperation in the scientific and technical research in the related fields.

Within this scope, iarigai serves its members (as well as the wider research community) as a platform for scientific exchange, strategic networking, social interaction, publishing opportunities etc. Currently, the Association has 51 members in 26 countries.

The Association was established in 1965 and 38 International Research Conferences have been organized so far, each time hosted by another organization member. These events resulted in a series of books, now under the general title ‟Advances in Printing and Media Technology”, containing edited papers presented at the conferences and considered to be a valuable source of information for the researchers and experts worldwide. iarigai recently opened a new and exclusive publishing channel with the Journal of Print and Media Technology Research, a peer-reviewed periodical, intended for high quality scientific papers. The journal offers an insight into the state of art of these research areas.
